Moving On

Cora is moving onto cereal. But she is not getting the job done very well. She can't quite figure out the whole spoon thing. In the previous posts I mentioned she loves her tongue, well she does the same thing with her tongue right when the spoon gets to her mouth. So nothing goes in her mouth.

And Walter waits anxiously for his turn to get some grub. He tries to by sly and acts like he is stretching, however he just get his mouth closer to the food. At one point he was licking Cora's hands and feet just to get a little taste.
Well Cora had had enough and took matters into her own hands. And this is why Great Danes are so wonderful. It didn't even bother him. He almost seemed to enjoy it!

Bitter Beer Face

So Cora discovers something new everyday. And the other day it was her tongue. She loves to sucks and bite ans chew on her tongue. And while doing it she makes the funniest faces. Luckily Pete had his camera phone ready when she did this;

It is by far the funniest face she has ever made.

Sending the First Josephson off to College

Danielle is the first Josephson to ever move-away and go off to college. I for one am so jealous. I think it would be so fun to do. But I never had the dedication to save up my money to do so. There was always cute clothes calling my name.
Dani worked so hard all her senior year and this summer to save up her money so she could stay in the dorms and pay for her school. She's a very diligent student and was able to get a few scholarships to help her out. After a college fair her junior year and a visit down to Cedar City Dani made up her mind to attend SUU. So this past Monday she packed up and headed down along with mom, dad, Cora, and myself. Cora felt she could add a lot to the decor of the room.

And as you can tell she very much did. She was great at unpacking. She also made sure there was no awkward silences. She learned to squeal and loved hearing herself.
As always my mom found something to clean. She mopped the kitchen floor and did some roommates dishes.
She also found herself under Dani's bed trying to prop it up on risers. My dad, well he wasn't much help. He just wanted to show off how cool his wife is.
The report so far is that Dani is doing awesome. So far she has already gone to a BBQ, met several boys, gone through orientation, had a job interview, shared a ginormous ice cream sundae, and kissed a boy. Ok, the last item is false. But it would be funny.

Her dorm room turned out adorable and we are all so excited for her. If you want to get a hold of her email me.

Bear Lake

The Josephson family headed out to Bear Lake last week. We missed Kelly and Kira's family and Pete but we were still able to have some fun. There's no reason in writing about it. The pictures say it all;

The boys engaged in a mud/sand fight.The rain started while we were eating lunch, so we took shelter.Like mother like daughter. Keeping warm during the rain.Mmmm Quincy loves sand.
Parks and Makelle are tuckered out.

Thanks so much to mom and dad for making this happen.

He's Bringing Sexy Back

Pete grew out his scruff this last week while Cora and I were away in Bear Lake (pictures coming soon.) He always has a breaking point where it itches too much, that was last night so he buzzed it off. But he didn't buzz all of it off. He felt it necessary to leave a greasy mustache. However in a weird way he is bringing sexy back.

Zion's Ponderosa

Thanks to Ryan and Julie the Stott's were able to meet up and have a very fun weekend in Zion's. The Keeslar's traveled from Clovis, and the Castle's traveled from Vegas along with Ryan and Julie.
It was Cora's first time meeting the Keeslar's. Look how cute Kennedy is;
Everyday was so fun. We just hung out and enjoyed everyone's company. The food was amazing and the cabin was even more amazing. The quads got used everyday at least 20 times. The kids couldn't get enough of them.
One day we headed into the park and took a fun hike. Everyone liked it for the most part. Paige hated it :)

Blair was tired from the beginning. She got burnt on the quad right before we left. So she was so sad.
Tyler cooling off in the river.
Cora got hungry and wanted to eat her sunglasses :)

Stupid Stupid Bee

Cora and I accompanied Pete the other day on a Bridal shoot for Tiffany Wilkinson. We had just gotten out of the car and got Cora in her stroller ready to head out. When all of a sudden I looked down and saw a bee on Cora's leg. I freaked out and Pete and I tried to flick it away. We weren't successful and he got a piece of Cora's little sweet leg.
It was so sad, not for Cora, just for her parents. She didn't make a peep, didn't skip a beat. She must have not even noticed.
