"Mom What Did Dad Look Like?"

When Pete has passed from an unfortunate event I am sure this question will arise. And I will not be able to show them because this is how Pete takes pictures;
It will force me to show them this;"Kids, it was the best I could do. Your dad was sedated and couldn't stop me from taking it."

Josephson FHE Done Right

For some reason the Josephson boys always seem to have some sort of contest at every gathering. Most are push-up contests. And my dad is always the winner. The last big one was in 1999 at Kelly and Kira's wedding. I think there was even some one handed push-up thrown out.
Well last night we met up the American Fork Canyon and enjoyed some good food and of
course a push-up competition.My dad did over 80 in a minute. He's tough as nails. My mom even got in on the action, but of course she put napkins down on the ground as not to get her hands dirty.Our crazy niece Lucy fell like 17 times. So Jeremy gave her a chocolate piece from the smores to make her feel better. And this is how she turned out;

Member of the Thespian Community

Our good friend Jake is in the play "Kiss Me Kate" so on Thursday we headed out to Orem and saw him be a gangsta at the Scera Shell. Although I didn't get the play Jake's part was perfect for him. He was awesome.Cora hung out in her Pogy for a matter of 10 minutes. She kept slippping down and ending up like an old sock. But of course she was cute doing it.

Mile Markers

Cora has reached monumental mile marks this last week. First of all was turning over from her back to her stomach. She couldn't quite figure out how to get over that chubby left arm. But she did it while we were visiting our friends the Peterson's.
I only have pictures for now, but I am hoping to post a video today.

She also can eat her toes. We are so proud. Pete thinks she learned it by watching him, as if he can reach his toes or that he would be gross enough to eat them. We were walking around a cute little store in the Riverwoods when she was grunting and breathing really heavy. So we stopped to take a look and lo and behold she was doing this;
And now she can't get enough. Today in the tub that is all she wanted to do. Totally not interested in her hands anymore, toes are in.

2 Month Shots (A month and a half late)

We took Cora in on Thursday for her 2 month appointment. I missed the real 2 month mark because we only have one car and Pete was stuck in a warehouse doing a favor for my mom. So sad to say a month and a half later we final got her in to see Dr. Wise. She checked out great and is measuring a little tall (maybe from uncle Ryan ?) and perfect for weight. Her chunky legs her wonderful to squeeze. The doctor even commented on the shape of her head, saying she was one of the few infants he has seen lately that won't need a helmet :)
The nurse was so good with her when she gave her the shots. Pete held her down and within 5 seconds the nurse already gave her the 4 shots she needed.

And then came the tears. Pete was great at calming her down though.

Mommy's Little Helper

So Cora helps out dad during photo-shoots, but Cora's Bumbo helps mom out while she's trying to work on the computer.

These things are heaven sent. She has been able to sit in her Bumbo for 2 weeks now, making it possible for me to get some things done on the computer and on the sewing machine. And at times it wears her out.
